It’s summertime….
Is if okay to store my prefinished flooring outside on my porch for a couple of days or is it best *indoors*.
My porch has a awning and my only concern is it due to it being summer – humidity, dew outside at nights, etc. Does the wood stand more a chance of warping , twisting, etc being stored outdoors than indoors.
The flooring specied if it matters is Santos Mahogany BR111 flooring.

Indoors chef. If you live in Brooklyn, it might be gone in a New York minute.
Bad idea.

indoors unless you have something against yur flooring...

Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
I'm currently still busy skim coating walls, drywall, etc.Decided to go with glass tiles, so I'm going to have to cut out the DW where the backsplash is and replace with CB *cement board*.Floors are still being *tweaked* to get them level.I was trying to have room to work before bringing the flooring indoors.
I guess I'm going to have to build me a pallet on wheels ;-)
If the packages are sealed in plastic, go ahead. Cover them with a tarp to keep the rain off.
The hardwood has aleady travelled by boat, truck and has been stored in unheated warehouses with open doors, so why not your porch?
The only reason we stack pre-finished indoors fo several days is to equalize temperature. The moisture content of your sub-floor is more relavent to a long lasting floor at this point than the pre-finished hardwood, which is already sealed.
Santos Mahogany is a beautiful floor by the way.
