I made the cut out for my slide in range one-half inch too deep…Does anyone make a surroud to hide my error????

I'm not aware of any type or pre-fab surrounds, what kind of c-top is it and how big is the piece the cut out is in?
Next question, does the range go against a wall or is it in an island
Depending on the range, there may be a back trim for retro fit into standard counter depth. The stove I have is Kenmore Elite, the part was ordered through their Parts and Service dept.

Every slide in range I've installed comes with the back plate used when you put a slide-in in place of a free standing. Should be one in the box.
