Strange question – shower curtains — now do they hang?
I have just installed a curved shower curtain. It wasn’t that big a deal installing it, but now I have a question : is the shower curtain supposed to fall straight down into the tub with the curved rod, or is it supposed to be on a slight angle? I am not sure if this makes sense. The reason I am asking is that the instructions said for 60 inch tubs, go up 65inches and then 5 inches inward. I did this, but now the shower curtain hangs on an angle to the inside of the tub. I have never had a shower/tub combo before, so I really don’t know how this all works. Should have I gone inward 8 inchs instead so it would hang straight up and down?

Pretty much it's whatever floats your boat, but probably usual practice is to have the rod positioned so that the curtain falls straight, just brushing the tub, when positioned outside the tub, and it of course then angles towards the inside whn positioned inside the tub.
But curved rods are a different matter -- not sure what's "normal" for them.
The whole point of a curved shower rod is to give the person showering a little more room, so they are not bumping into the slimy curtain, and it isn't pulled into the bather when the water is turned on. Think ELBOW ROOM!
It is a round peg into a square hole approach. The round curtain arraingement will never look righ when draping over a rectangular tub. The only hope is to have the outer curtain hanging outside - straight down, the inner liner draping inside over the tub edge.
