I have a neighbor that’s about to build a straw bale house on a mono-slab foundation. Exterior and interior will be stuccoed. Since I’ve had problems with ants nesting in rigid foam, I’m wondering if the straw would also provide an ideal nesting site for the little buggers. Any experiences to tell? Dave

I understand they add boratic acid... or borax to the bails... it's natural and i don't think anything lives in or eats it...
