No beams though or "point loads"

Beams and Point Loads calcs contain several variables and formulae, therefore no conducive to the "chart" format. I would suggest a book by August Domel, Jr. "Basic Engineering calculations For Contractors" ISBN 0-07-018002-4. This will help....but read it all for it not only lets you do load calculations it shows how to determine if the results are beyond the structural limits of your materials!
