I am insulating a foundation wall on an old house by using rigid foam sheathing from frost line to bottom of siding (siding sticks past foundation enough to fit 1†of sheathing). I would like to finish the above grade portion of the foam sheathing with stucco. How should I apply this stucco? Should wire mesh be applied first and nailed through sheathing into foundation wall? Any other suggestions?
