This is something I’ve never done before but have read about. I need to put up a backsplash 46″ high behind the the countertop for electrical outlets and plumbing to avoid going into the exterior wall. I don’t know how to do the solid surface countertop against the wall. Should I build a 3/4 countertop & backsplash (with 1/8″ ssf) and shove it up to the stud wall?
