Can anyone clarify if our three wire submersible can be grounded at the well head near the concrete casing using a standard copper coated grounding rod,or does it have to go directly to the breaker box.Also the size of that grounding wire is in question as well as the location that it is attached to the pump.Any advice would be helpful Thanks, Teresa Greer

If your well casing is steel, that makes a tremendous ground.
