I’m painting some trim mahogany that is finished with tung oil. Does anyone have any advice on the best primer to use in this situation?
Thanks in advance.

shellac or oil base primers will both work fine, but if the tung oil finish has cured you probably don't need either--oil base paint will grab a cured tung oil surface like a tick on a dog.
