Suggests for best roll-up insect screen?

We are retro-fitting some new Marvin double-hung windows, anyone know of a roll-up insect screen product made w/METAL pull-down components?
Had very poor results on an earlier house – the roll-up screens had a plastic pull-down component that chipped, bent, and jammed in the channel. Some would spontaneously roll-up with a loud *bang* after deciding they didn’t like being latched.
And once installed and finished, these the screen boxes are difficult, menaing costly, to open up for replacement.
