Simplified explanation:
I have a raised slab enclosed porch. Found termite/water damage under several sliding doors.
The wood under the door sill was installed directly on top of the concrete but it was primed and painted
I removed the rotted wood from support posts and under door sill.
I now need to replace it and do not know what material to use.
I would like to paint whatever material I decide to use.
Any suggestions
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure ofall you just explained, but any wood in constant contact with masonry should be PT to resist rot, Crete will wick water up.
