Quick Question on Mounting Swanstone or similar panels for a Tub / Shower surround.
I have tiled a number of baths before but want to go seamless / Grout-Less this time.
Would you use concrete board or Hardiboard to mount to ? What is the best substrate to mount such panels to ?
PL Premium or similar adhesive ? I know I will check specific manufacturers reccomendation for adhesive specs, just havent done anything like this in the past and I know it is fairly commonplace so I thought I would ask for quick advice or a pointer to a previously posted thread here.
Thanks much in advance.

The one and only time using corian panels on a job. I applied 1/2" ply first (for potential grab bar installs), then cement board. The corian panels 1/2" were applied over using the silicone caulk supplied by corian.
The installers used 1/2" , a bit overkill as the substraight it was applied to was sound and rigid. This shower was 4' wide, 8' tall and 6 ' long. They shop joined it in 6 x 6' panels for the sides, 2 x 6' field joined fill in above. The end 4 x 8 was done in tile. The panels were heavy and awkward.
Small thin trims were made up to cover the field joint (tight seam, but slightly discolored). In addition, their crappy scribe at the ceiling was covered by another small trim.
Job looks good now, but after initial install I had to beat on the owner of the company to get this up to the quality the customer deserved.
The panels were mounted with dobs of silicone, spreaders applied between the two sides until the adhesive set.
1/4" panels are the norm for most tub/shower surrounds.
