What are the tables finished with (polyurethane, lacquer, etc.), how deep are the scratches, and how much of each table is scratched? You could ask this at Knots and maybe get more responses. Anyway, a guy I work for uses something called "Cabinet Magic" for small scratches in varnish on cabinets; that may work.

You might also try shoe polish, crayons from Minwax, magic marker- in a color close to the finish.

How deep a scatch we talking about? If its a little minor scratch not throughtthe top coat you can blend it in to make it less noticable. If its through the top coat..sand and respray
