Just wodering how we all store our circular (worm, imitation worm, and sidewinders ) at the end of the day. Do you set them at full depth, or do you open them up so they wouldn’t be able to cut anything?
I like mine at full depth, seams like it would protect the arm of the depth adjustment that way. I’v seen others that open them all the way to protect the blade (gaurds pinned up) or it stands flat in the truck this way.
So, What the heck do you do and why?

Worms- guard up table extended-better storage. Chop- locked down.Sander, router and planner in box.Cords and hose rolled up after everything is blown off.The cool thing is we get to leave the tools at the customers home till the next day instead of loading and unloading the truck each day.
*Saws...both ready to kill. Full extension. They won't fit into the cases otherwise. Cordless and tailed. Jeff
*Put them back in the case. James
*Guards pinned up ,set to full depth ,thrown in the back of the truck w/ a big ole Emglo compressor sittin on top of them. Not sure why they do that ,but thats how I usually find them
*James, I totally agree. When you pay out good money for a saw, or any tool for that matter, why would you want to store it any other way?My sidewinder didn't come with a case; however, I managed to find a suitable case for it which due to it's rectangular shape aids in being able to get more tools into my behind the cab truck box, and with organization.Frank
*I just throw it in the box and go home. It's not the kind of thing I've ever really thought about. If I had to think about it, I'd probably just throw it in the box and go home.Ed. Williams
