I’m working on a bathroom remodel in a home that’s five years old. The homeowner has asked me if there isn’t something I could do to take some of the bounce out of her kitchen after I’m finished with the remodel. I don’t normally get into this sort of work/repair, but I was wondering if I couldn’t just scab some 5/8 outdoor OSB onto the existing joists with some construction adhesive and staples. It seems to me that it would be a simple and effective solution.
Has anyone tried this approach?
