I figure that there’s this cosmic tool exchange. Sometimes one of your tools gets sucked in, sometimes a tool falls out.
I’ve had people leave tools and never come back for them, with no way to identify who left what. I’ve gotten a six foot straightedge and a nice wheelbarrow. I think I’ve lost some tools too, but have a dimmer memory of what I’ve lost….

Lot of shovels living here, not much of a Cosmic exchange.

I ended up with a six-ft ladder that I could never figure out who it belonged to...
It's been a good little ladder, tho.....

That,s where that ladder went!!!!!! Never could figure where that went. Did get a 9 volt makita hammer drill once though. I'm sure I've lost more than I've found too.
I lose flat bars. That makes sense. Demolition, piles of trash, the flat bars are rusty brown. They blend in and end up in the landfill. But I find 12" Channellocks, with the blue handles. Lots of them. Guys, would ya quit, already?! I dont know what to do with them!...I made a nice little border around the flower bed out front... Looks nice. But DW hates it. Go figure. So now what do I do with the rest of 'em?AitchKayPS
Can I borrow your pry bar for a minute? I know mine's around here somewhere ...
I was a trim sub for a housing company. I checked out a house in the framing stage. It was late and I was on my way home, nobody on site, noticed a set of keys and a leather jacket hanging in the garage.
When I came to do the trim the leather jacket and keys were still there.
And 3 weeks later when I returned to do the lock-out, still there.
Great bunch of subs, all Pro's, everybody did what they were supposed to and sometimes more.
