Hi Sphere.
Today was a good day for our trade.
How do you knew that?
Here is another one.
What we have here is few more benefits of the Dead Wood Concept. Now we can use the ez smart system to straight line rip one edge.http://www.eurekazone.org/images/ga...htlineripb.htmlInsert the self aligning guide control unit with the EZEZ reapeto for repeat cuts on both sides of the blade for pieces less than 16"http://www.eurekazone.org/images/ga...zezrepeato.htmlAnd at the last pictures (with the ATF) the integrated measuring system for repeat cuts up to 48". One note here. The smart clamps and the guide control unit become the table legs. In case we don't have the room for the smart table. And without any limitations on capacity. Here you can turn your guide into a portable dimensional mill.http://www.eurekazone.org/images/ga...iantmakita.htmlEnjoy.YCF Dino

Hey? Can i be a dist. here in KY and geta freebie to demo?
I think the EZ is smart enough to not pit itself against an old tool abuser like me...cuz i don't really know if it would break or not,,,,,hint, hint.
Thanks Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

Ok. Here is the deal.
We're opening up trade schools allover US.
The EZ Smart woodworking and construction trades schools.
Simple schools that people can come to learn few EZ Smart tricks of the trade.
And not just mine or yours. The same time people can buy few EZ Smart tools from the schools. Again. not just mine and yours.
If we think a tool or a method can help the trade and the user..we pimp it.
whatyousay?

I am waiting until you put a REAL saw on the EZ.I forget the name, but a German company makes a circular saw that is 3phase and takes 2 people. I think 20 or 24".
Sounds strangely familiar...a 20" Tannewitz by chance?
We really had one in Dresdners shop..7.5 HP 3Ph. 20" blade TABLESAW.
I saw it send a guy across the room when a neck billet kicked back on him...60" long 5"x5" maple and morado laminated blank.
Actually drove the rove of his Levis into his pelvis bone...impressive. Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

No, this was a handheld circular saw, basically a sidewinder on steroids.Designed for timber framing. Marfel, Merfack, something like that.
Maffele or such..I got ya.
Ever hang on to a chain mortiser? Or a magnet drill press?
Some where I have my timber morticer ( hand cranks)..that thing will tucker awy your pucker right quick. Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

Something like this, Bill?http://www.mafell.de/englisch/images/produktbilder_hochaufgeloest/fsg240.jpgWhat a monster. Makes the makita look like a trim saw.
Yes, that is the one. Here are the specs.http://www.mafell.de/englisch/produkte/prod_saegen_fsg240k_i.htmOK, Dino, lets see you mount one of those on the EZ!Or would it be mounting the EZ on the saw?
Bill.
a Unisaw once on the EZ. Upside down. Just to show the theory of the concept. Anything can be mounted on the EZ.
That saw is only 4" larger than the Makita.
Nothing to it.
YCF Dino
Edit fot typo. I mount ??? ( Bill. is that ok? )

Hi DinoHow come your smart table looks smarter than mine?http://www.eurekazone.org/images/gallery/ezezrepeato.htmlWhat is the story on the availibilty of the ezrepeato thing?Dennis
Hi Dennis. The smart table is almost the same. This is a prototype that haves few problems. You lose the double decking and don't like it after few cuts.
Yours is better.
The ez reapeato will be ready for the season. End of summer.
Thanks Dennis.

What's this? It looks just like what I'm looking for to make cabinets.
I don't see it on your web site.
You get out of life what you put into it......minus taxes.
Marv
This is the Ez smart with integrated measuring system.
The extendable fence gives you 50" cross cut.
And with 4 smart clamps on the EZ, you don't need a table to cut.
So, what you have here is a floating shooter board with no table or tape measure needed.
Do you like it?
YCF Dino
So, when is the integrated measuring system going to be ready? how much?
Matt
almost ready to order the freedom package, just counting my pennies...
Hi Matt.
We're shooting for Sept. 1st.
Prices not available yet. But like anything else in Eurekazone
it will be in line with other products.
thanks

Thanks Marv.
Man that thing is a monster. How's the cut? I have a Festool rig that looks that your set ups baby brother. The cut is so straight and clean tha the edge looks jointed. You cannot see a saw mark. As for big bad saws I bought an Evolution Evo 180x last year. That thing cuts 3/8 plate steel like with the same effort it takes to cut a 2x4 with my skil 77. We have a rule after every cut you have to say, "That's fu*#ing amazing". It looks like this expression may apply to that monster your holding.
Please repond I'm curious about cut quality. I see Hilti on their Euro web site has the same sort of guide / saw setup.

The Smart base and the ez smart provide antichip protection on both sides of the blade. Not only you don't see a saw mark but you don't see any chipping on cross cuts.

With the Festool (ATF) on the Ez Smart I can have dimensional stock down to 10.000". And cleaner cuts due to the smart base.

I totally agree with you. You can use your Evolution on the EZ Smart to add guidance. Then you will say..That is EZ F----g amazing. Imagine that.

All Euro guide systems are good. And similar to what you have. And you have the best european system.
They even use the same clamps by the same company?
But nothing like the EZ. What they don't have is ..
Universality- Bidirectonality-narrow stock capabilities-Repeatability-Antichip on both sides of the blade.-Extendability with true zero play-All directional routing system.Adaptability to all other tools with the same guide rail. and.................

Three questions. How much? Looks like a router motor? Is your table a little high?
Three questions. How much? Looks like a router motor? Is your table a little high?
Three answers. The complete Ez Smart system of 100" is $179.00-189.00
The Makita is extra.
No.It's a regular 110 V circular saw motor.
For that saw...yes. The table is high.

Hey there YCFriend,
What I want to know is can you use this rig to cut door bottoms quick and easy.
In other words, what would be the quickest and easiest way to set this system up for maybe cutting fifty to three hundred doors.
Would you still have to scribe the doors, and then cut? How would you clamp?
Cork in Chicago (always looking for an easier way to do it while still maintaining quality). :)
In other words, what would be the quickest and easiest way to set this system up for maybe cutting fifty to three hundred doors.
For cuttind doors you may need an 8-1/4" saw.
The quickest and easiest way is the non skid tape.
No Clamping and no offset measurements. Place the EZ on the mark and cut.

What about the face of the door?
Is this thing going to splinter the face?
To scribe or not to scribe?-- that is the question.
(Thanks about the answere on the clamps)
Cork in Chicago
The Ez Smart can give you the cleanest cut on the bottom and the top.
Left and right of the sawblade.
You have the best and most effectine antichip protection ever.
If you scribe you can mess up a perfect cut.
No scribe. Just cut.
Thanks.

YC, you look awful relaxed behind that monster - you sure it's on?

Just got my freedom package on Friday (and I ordered it on Wed!) and can't wait to make some saw dust with it tomorrow. I'm only sorry I didn't order this months ago.
Jim
Is never to late to be free.
Man!! I'm getting good with this.
Welcome to the EZ-one Jim.

I set up the table and started ripping plywood this morning. What a relief! I'm making faux columns for a large porch out of 3/4 MDO. Instead of the 45 degree cuts being close enough, they were tight and sharp. I mean sharp enough that I had to sand them. The EZ guide system took hours off my day, and it was in the 90s today. Can't wait for the router guide to arrive.ThanksJim"I want a good clean fight. No head butts, no rabbit punches, and no hitting below the belt. Break when I say break, and protect yourself at all times."
Thank yourself and Breaktime.
And thank you JIM.

Step 1.
Before you start cutting...set-up the smart table.
Step 2. Have fun.
step 3. Get more Ez stuff and have more Ez fun.
Step 4. Repeat step 2
step 5. Repeat step 3
step 6. Repeat step 3
That was EZ.
