I have a client who needs a new front entry door. The house is 4 years old and the existing jamb is rotted out at the bottom(thru to the sidelight) on the hinge side and split at the top(due to the storm door closer). I’m not sure who made this door. I suggested a door with clad jambs, but have not had any experience with this product. I found that clad jambs are an option with Therma-tru. Anyone have any experience with this? By the way, his neighbor 2 doors away has the exact same problem, but not as severe.
