Source control, ventilation, and filtration are the keys to healthy indoor air quality. Dehumidification is important too.

the usual latex modified thinset will do. Once pressed in hard, the air/barometric pressure will hold the tiles up till set. (have you ever tried prying a tile from a floor after it's been firmly pressed down??)
Wear goggles/eye protection while doing it, also when grouting. Getting the stuff in your eyes is no fun. DAMHIKT.
I put the tile up tonight with out any problems. Thanks for the input. I can't seam to figure out how to post to everyone so thanks to everone that helped.

When you hit "reply", open the dialogue box next to the word To: You'll see the choice "All". Bob's next test date: 12/10/07

With properly mixed thinset, tiles up to about 6x6 will easily stay in place. When you grout, keep your mouth closed. Don't ask how I know.

the right mix with any modified thinset along with the right trowel size will work.
but for bigger tiles I like the extra security of a thinset with extra "stick"
I prefer Mapei UltraLite ...
and I know Custom makes one too, can't think of the exact name.
UltraLite is pricey ... but has great initial stick.
for bigger tiles I used to do the ceiling first, and run a ledger around the walls about an inch and a half down from the ceiling ... the run 1x strapping across when all done and shim up tight ... just to keep things from moving overnite.
don't bother now with the UltraLite ... just stick it once and it's stuck.

I've used the UltraContact too.
also their rapid set version for some big tiles on a big floor we wanted to be sure we could fully grout the next morning. Had hoped of grouting that night but reality set in.
but I like the fluffy-ness of the Lite.
trowels real nice ... and great initial stick.
