Hey all
I was wanting to tile the fibreglass walled head (bathroom for the landlubbers) of our trawler.
I saw some hot tubs with nice tiled scumlines and was wondering what setting mastic and grout to use??? Any ideas out there
Thanks

bump cuz no response yet.....
i would think... you'd need an epoxie not an epoxie grout... but a real epoxie... maybe a good sanding first to give it some bite...
that or you could epoxie and screw some backer board to the fiberglass first... then tile as normal
never done it but... just my opinion...

I expect flex of the substrate would negate any grout longevity....

The few tubs I have seen with tiled scum lines (a lot different than a whole wall(s) seem to be grouted with a flexible rubber caulk.
