i’m thinking about tiling my bathroom floor with cathedral marbles(http://www.warner-criv.com/product.aspx?id=1525-08) or something along those lines and was looking for any ideas or advise. is it practical? what subflooring should i use? what should i grout with? etc?
thanks,

Never tried it. But I have an opinion (no surprise there!). Since they come loose, not set on a mesh backing, you will have to lay them one piece at a time. I assume there is a top and a bottom ... allow extra time to get them right side up.
You will nee to use a white thinset, not grey, because it will show through the glass. Use a small v-notch trowel and be sure to push the stones down hard enough to squeeze all the grooves out of the thinset, or else you'll see lines through the glass.
When you grout, you're going to have grout up the sides of the stones and partially on top because of the curvature.
I have an exposed aggregate front walk and driveway. Looks neat. It's a b!tch to walk on in bare feet cuz it hurts. These stones may give the same effect.
And they will be slippery when wet.
I'm sorry, I thought you wanted it done the right way.
If you do this I hope you post some pictures, I would really like to see how this looks. Good luck and sorry I couldn't be of any help.
