I am framing an addition floor with TJI joists. One end of joists sits on new stem wall; the other end has hangers off a ledger board secured to the existing block foundation with epoxy embedded anchor bolts.
Should the ledger be engineered, or pressure treated lumber? I have read that engineered products should not be in contact with masonry, however, mixing TJIs with lumber is also bad practice. Advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jason
