how do you deal with rust on drill bits and other small hand tools when travelling job to job? OLFA packs razor blades with a piece of paper… in the yellow boxes.. are there solutions for tool boxes?

A friend told me a story about when he was an apprentice carpenter in England. They used handsaws for nearly everything. My friend found a good one in a second-hand shop, bought it and brought it to the job.
"How do you clean the rust off a saw?" He asked innocently.
