Hi All,
I just had to see if I’m the only one having ridiculus luck power tools this year.
So far the tools I’ve had to return as they were bad out of the box or within 30 days had problems:
Milwaukee 3/8″ Drill-chuck wouldn’t stay tight
DeWalt D55155 Compressor-drain plug stipped out
Max Super Framer nail gun-miss fire every 2 sticks
Hilti TM **** Hammer drill-incredibly tight speed shift
Senco FP 25XP brad nailer-mis fires constantly
Crazy I know..that’s a list of some quality tools. I got replacements for each one and they seem fine so far. Not knocking any of these brands as I have other tools by them that are flawless and the replacements are great so far. I’m just curious if there’s some pattern growing. When I first started getting these type of tools back in the ’80’s I never had one problem.
Is there an across the board lowering of quality or am I just “lucky”?
Hope your having better luck.
Warren
