Top plate attached to engineered joist

Finishing my basement. I need to build a wall & attach the top plate to the bottom of engineered floor joists. These are the I shaped kind. What’s the best way to do this? Just nail through the bottom? Thanks in advance. i don’t want to mess up these I joists.

Based on Louisiana-Pacific installation instructions for their LPI Joists.
Nail them through the flanges, 8d or 10d nails - no 16d's!, keep nails at least 1-1/2" back from the ends to avoid splitting of the flanges.
Illustrations show nails entering the flanges from the top - normal for new construction.
If you were really worried you could pilot the top plate and the joist flange, then screw with a structural screw like a GRK. More time and $$ but very gentle.

Never underestimate the value of a sharp pencil or good light.
Thanks a bunch, just what I was looking for. Another question, this wall will go against a poured concrete wall. Tape plastic to the concrete foundation & use pressure treated lumber for the studs, foam insulation between studs? Is this the best way or suggestions?
