*We have an avonite counter and love it. This is our color http://www.avonite.com/popups/bluepearl.htm. If you install lights underneath it has an awesome glow. Didn't do that be/c of the support bars, etc, but did have fun experimenting with a flashlight. Don't know about "polished glass" but a real good color choice.
