trenching through middle of compacted pad
building a 1200 sf single story stick frame. pad was graded and compacted to 95% and higher. foundation design 4″ slab on grade with 12″ x 18″ continuous footings, w/ min. four #4 t&b or two #5 t&b. slab reinforcement is #3 @ 16″ ocew over 2″ sand over 10 mi vb over 2″ sand.
I had to cut a 12″ x 24″ trench through middle of pad to get electrical supply to rear of structure. One conduit was installed, I filled the trench in approx 10-12″ lifts wetting the soil before hand and re-wetting once in place. Once filled to top I compacted it by rolling over the trench fill with the tracks of the mini-ex. I then compacted the last 2-4″ with a pneumatic tamper again wetting the material. There is an interior bearing wall that intersects the trench (near perfectly perpindicular), the nearly whole width of the slab. The trench had a very very subtle curve to it.
My question is this….would it behoove me to throw some additional rebar in over the trench and if so what would you suggest, or is there another way to buy some additional insurance in this case? I feel I compacted the trench pretty good but I am of the thought that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
BTW. the subrade consist of granite and the soil is silty sand. pad was created using onsite soils excavated down to about 3′-4-‘ with a max. of 5’, and recompacted in 6-8″ lifts with moisture near optimum and using using a CAT 550 rubber loader.
thanks in advance.

You should be just fine as it is. What you have done is normal practice. Does your interior wall have a footing. It should.
yes it does, 12x18 also. So no additional rebar required then? thanks for the response.
