Tricks to stop stain bleeding through!!!

FHB always seems to arrive with at least one article addressing whatever I’m up to at that moment. How do they do that? I read the priming article with interest; I have four doors that were professionally dipped and came back RED with the residue of some previous stain. I knew it was trouble when it came off on hands, clothing, anything it touched. So I sanded and now I need to get these things white. I tried Zinzer BIN like the article suggested. First coat got me to rose. Second coat (a day later) didn’t get me any closer to white. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you have any tricks to get these things sealed up and white, let me know. I’ve already got some dough in them for the dipping and the doorways are already framed and waiting.
Thanks for any ideas,
Eli

Try Shellac. Coat it once with that and it will be sealed.
On bare wood it seals well and some of the stain blockers use it as an ingredient.
Cleans up with ammonia or alcohol.
seal with bullseye dewaxed shellac
more BIN, then spray the final coat of white. Brushing BIN will remix with the previous layer, but it will seal it in.
Try KILZ. Basically pigmented shellac. For me, it has stopped mold, magic marker, crayon, and knots from bleeding through.
IIRC, Kilz is not a shellac-based primer. It's non-stinky version is latex.
On the other hand, the BIN that the original poster used, is a pigmented shellac product. I tend to agree that two coats will seal just about anything. I also agree that the red might still show due to the fact that fresh shelac dissolves hardened shellac.
Let two coats dry (should take about one hour total) and top coat with the paint of choice.
Vast projects should not be founded on half vast ideas.

Thanks to all for the suggestions.
I'm going to try the bullseye shellac (because I have some). For kicks I tried Krylon flat white primer which did an okay job but it's not white yet. I might have to allow for the extra thickness of these doors by the time I get them to white. (Like the old line about the house getting smaller with every coat of paint...)
Keep them coming if you have more. Is the elmers idea for real?
EliThat's going to leave a mark
Buy used paint at a discount..already in the shape of a door.

I'm not talking about the latex version. Have you ever used KILZ?
I've had good results with Tremclad Aluminium paint over the knot holes then prime and paint.
There are no stupid questions. Just lots of inquisitive idiots!!!
