I dont do trim work full time but on the side and ran into a small problem and just wanted some ideas. While putting the base up, when nailing on the long runs it seems when nailing the bottom of the base it twist down pulling tight on the sheet rock where the is no mud in the groove at the bottom of the sheet rock any on else had this problem and how dod you eliminate it?

If there are any DW screws showing, back them out a few turns til they are flush with the flat surface of the DW.
Or put in more screws and leave then flush.
