Hi Everyone,
Remodeling my house and adding curved windows. I’ll be siding with Hardie plank with a 4″ reveal. I would like to trim it out as in version 1 (see attached pictures). I think this version highlights the curve of the windows the most. However… thinking that I wouldn’t be able to deal with attaching the sharp pointed angles that would result over the arch where the hardie meets the curved trim, I would probably have to go with version 2, which uses 3 sheets of plywood. Possibly a “hybrid” solution, which I also like, would be version 3 which would eliminate some of the most acute angles. If anyone has any thoughts on trimming these beautiful (and expensive!) windows or in particular has experience with Hardie, I would love to get your input.
The 2×6 ledger board over the arch is for a motorized shade.
Thanks
Tom

I don't quite understand tour pictures, but when I trim curved window with hardi; I use a 3ply arch of 1/4" hardi all glued together. each piece is cut seperatley and then flushed after threy're glued together.
I did 6 3' wide windows and and a 6' wide door in about a day and a 1/2 by myself.
I forgot to mention that it turned out great.
If anyone has a better way to do this, please inform. It' was very meticulous cutting...........RTC
