I need to put an acrylic tub surround in a peak ceilinged bathroom. Inorder to allow enough room for the door I will need to scoot the tub/surrround back into the slope of the ceiling. I am planning on trimming about 2 inches of the acrylic surround to fit, but am not sure how to go about it without shattering the brittle acrylic. Anyone have any experience with this?

do it outside if at all possible- its real dusty.
You might try cutting some of the waste area first, just to get a feel for it.
Thanks, that was just the excuse I was looking for to get a grinder!
