I have just used Trus Joist rimboard for the first time. It got wetted down real good from the time we framed the floor to the time we got the subfloor on and expanded from 1 1/8″ to 1 1/4″. Since then to the time we got it covered it has expanded another 1/8″ to 1 3/8″. Emailed the company but havent heard back from them yet. Are there some tricks to using this stuff under wet conditions and does it hit a point where it stops growing?
