what’s the best way to line up trusses while setting them with a crane?
When we set them by hand we string a line from gable to gable but can’t do this when we use a crane.
I’ve heard of some guys snapping lines on the bottom chord of the trusses before installing. others keep consistant on one wall of the house and ignore the opposite.
I’d like to hear about other approaches because we never seem very happy with our truss setting procedures.
Also, how do you guys start that first sheet of plywood on the roof?
Pull down from the peak? pull up from the facia? Snap a line? Line up to facia? Etc.
Thanks for the input.
