Did the leisure thing over labor day. Even some kite flying with the family. My 5 year old son kept crashing his kite and the cheap 1 mil plastic got all torn up. I re-skinned his kite with Tyvek and he couldn’t tear it even by pulling and yanking it out of trees and bushes. I suspect he could fly the kite over Iraq and Saddam wouldn’t be able to shoot it down. I’m curious to know if anyone has used 15# or 30# felt for a kite? I guess I’ll have to save the tar for actual construction.
