Some of the items would have gotten real use by me if they had been in my bags last week.
The 4-in-hand rasp. Used to have one, but it went missing. Could have used it Friday, truing up two holes I cut through the sheathing for vent lines. Think I’ll get another.
The little Stabila P-L-360 torpedo level. Same deal about losing the previous, but it wasn’t one of these German gems. I’ll spring.
The Cully Mega-Pro 15-in-1 screwdriver. We had a torx, we had a square-drive (coupla different sizes), we had phillips galore, but the doggone screws that Jack got down at the supply counter to mount the end covers required a plain old blade tip! Gotta get me one of those Cullys.
That little Kuntz palm plane from Lee Valley looks nice, but if I get one more plane, I’ll have to move out of the house. On the other hand, Jack and I are doing siding shingles after the holiday, and we’re doing woven corners. I’ve got three block planes already, but, hey, this one is lighter, right? Should I order it right now?
