I saw this in Popular Science and thought it was interesting.
This hammer holder allows you to grab the handle of the hammer rather than the hammer head when it’s in our belt.
There’s a thing there where you can download a PDF file and get a free one if you have your favorite lumberyard fill a form out.
If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, riddle them with bullets.

Thanks for the info, but mine usually rides handle up in my toolbelt if I am using it actively, if not then slung behind me in the thingy...nice idea tho...

I was wondering if anyone had looked at this.I've tried sticking my hammer upside down in one of the tool pouches. But it doesn't keep it from hanging out away from me. That means it's in the way and catches on things.

You wish and where do you buy your hammers?!!!
Thing looks like it would catch on to much stuff.
Plus I'm afraid that others would make fun of me.

HOLSTER -
Looks like one of those minimalist IPSC holsters that holds the gun by muzzle and trigger guard. They are FAST. Saw this one at the JLC Expo.
Prefer the leather loop on the front of my Oxy bags. Excellent location. To reholster, just get the butt started in the loop and let go.

You just have to get fancy, and use your leg to pop the hammer out of the loop. If you swing your lower leg just right to hit the bottom, you can pop it up, and grab the handle.

Have to give that a try. I can do a fast draw with a .45. Next, the hammer. After that, hitting the nail three times out of four. The ToolBear

Looks like they're $13 plus S+H.I'm gonna try to get a lumberyard to fill out the PDF file so I can get a free one:http://praziusa.com/quickdraw.html(I forgot to add that link in the original post)
Bumpersticker: Keep honking. I'm reloading.
That would be great for my Autohammer!
