Made a mistake today, kicking myself for it. In a hurry, used above grade floor leveler on a concrete basement floor to do a patch for upcoming carpet. Basement is very dry and patch is in center of the floor about 1/8″ thick.
Besides the world coming to an end should I be very concerned about this. Mold growth? Material becoming mushy? Bleeding through pad?
I know I was wrong, just wondering how big a deal?

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
WOW!!! What a Ride!
Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
Run! And notify Homeland Security! Nuclear fission may begin any moment now!
I did the same thing quite a few years ago. I did not realize it until I went to put the can in the dumpster. No problems at all. I would use the same leveler again if I did not have the correct leveler on hand. Not sure what the difference is.

Thanks, I'm taking a few steps back from the cliff now. Maybe everyone's right, I take my work way too serious:)
