Anyone have experience with these:

I’m looking at putting them on the van doors but I’m not sure if they’ll mount up OK. I’m wondering if anyone’s tried these to mate a side slider door to the passenger door on a ’98 or similar E-250.
Thanks

The problem with those is the locks become a hassle.
The lock doesn't work if you don't use it.
You might want to look into electric deadbolts. No one will see them, and they lock when you lock the vehicle.
Thanks. I looked into the deadbolts you talk about, but I'm looking for a lower-cost alternative until I can upgrade to power locks. I'm spending my lock money on signage for the van, but figure with the higher visibility the signage beings I should take some security measures. I'd be using them every night and morning since I have no off-street parking, so I'm not really worried about maintainance...

I prefer this from American Padlock that use the cylindrical american locks. I have used them on a 99 Chevy Van. Not sure about the ford but it will probably work. As for the lock sticking, use WD40. I was always told not to use WD40 on locks until a 40 year locksmith told me otherwise. Been squirting it ever since and never had a problem. If they want in they had better bring a torch!!!!
