Vapor barrier for framing a shower

I am being a bit cautious and putting a vapor barrier around the framing of the shower (the 2 X 4’s).  Any suggestions on this?    Do I need 6mm poly for this?

    vapor barrier in shower

    Use regular drywall as wall surround and apply Kerdi

    check Schluter shower installation

    The waterproof membrane of the shower takes the place of any vapor barrier.
