Find the model you are interested in and look at the install pdf or booklet.
They will give you adjustment numbers for transitions, elbows and vent ends. Add 'em up and see if it exceeds the recommended length for your micro.
Offhand, you should be ok.
From Whirlpool:
rect. to round transition-5ft
90 deg elbow- 25ft
wall vent end- 40ft.
straight pipe-required footage.
Their recommendation for one of their ovens-140ft total.
so, you have 70ft in transition/elbow/vent end plus 15' or 85'.
I assume this vent is for the integrated range hood? Microwave ovens don't generally require venting.
Is there any range hood over the stove now?
Over range microwaves have the range fan built into the bottom and a vent in the top rear to be piped out.
That isn't what I asked.
