In the midst of gutting my bathroom, I’ve discovered that the new location for the toilet is over 6 feet away from the nearest 2″ vent… I think that’s a no-go. If you agree, I have to create a new vent. I’m unsure of some things, so I’m hoping you’ll red flag problems. Here’s my plan. I’ll aim the closet bend toward the wall behind the toilet. Directly beneath the bottom plate of this wall, I’ll install a san-tee for the vent to rise up thru the wall. From the bottom connection of the san-tee, the drain line (4″) will drop down a tiny bit, then make a 90 heading downstream to tie in to the main line about seven and a half feet away. In other words, the closet bend heads toward the back of the toilet but the branch line drains in the opposite direction. I’ve read that a vent must be downstream of the trap, but in this case the vent is slightly upstream of the toilet and closet bend, etc. Is this okay? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

try these fittings 2in street 45 ,3*2*3* low heel outlet , 3in street 45 . 2in up wall for vent , low heel picks toilet , 3in 45 street runs over to waste pipe . sounds as though your way would create a flat vent
Dear Jjones,I'm sorry but you've lost me... I don't understand why you're suggesting 3" pieces... it's all 4", except, of course, for the 2" vent. And I don't understand the meaning of a 'flat vent'. If you could explain what a 'low heel' piece is and what it accomplishes... I'm afraid you're light years ahead of me here... Thank you for taking the time.
flat vent is anything less then a 45 . low heel is a 3 in sant with a 2in bushing but made from a singe mold into a fitting any h.d. would have one in the bins . as far as 4in just bush the 4in to 3in . you only need 3in waste for toilet .
