I’m (still!) finishing a dormered “bonus room” space in my house. Looking at the dormers, I realize that once I rock the ceiling (flat), there’s going to be very little ventilation for the dormer roof. It has continuous roof vent in the peak, but there’s no place for intake at the bottom. I’m thinking of putting a few 3″ holes in the sheathing between the dormer and the main roof space (see sketch). Make sense?
