I’m working on siding a ranch house without soffits. The inside corner is thicker than
the fascia board. I’d have to space it out with 2x stock to cover it, and then I would
run into another issue with the drip edge off the roof. Cleary I’m missing something.
Anyone with a simpler fix?

Can you use 2 J-channel?
I'm contemplating going that route. Figure some 1x strapping, I could make that
work. Curious to see what others have done.

Scrap vinyl in the corner with one J
I was just at a friend's BBQ last night and noticed his house had the inside corners
like that. What do you do, rip a flat scrap section from a length of siding fairly wide and
punch nail slots?
