Do any vinyl window manufacturers make solid vinyl windows with a good weld finish? Most of the windows I’ve seen have protruding beads on all of the welds. I like the energy efficiency they provide but my wife can’t stand to look at them. We are currently building a house in the Tampa area and need to decide on windows soon. Our other option is the standard SH aluminum florida style. Any input would be helpful. Thanks,

Might be easier to get a new wife than to get rid of the weld look.
She seems to be awful picky. Remind her how energy inefficient aluminum windows are or go to wood!

Yeah, right up there with 1970s spray foam... you need to get out more.
I moved to Ontario (canada) a few years ago.
I think this place has to be the vinyl window capital of the world.
I was on a job a few years back and they installed some vinyl windows from a co. called Euro Vinyl. I felt these things were a cut above a lot of what I see/install. Nice windows.
I can't see shipping them all the way to FL though.

What do you want, energy efficiency, or an unhappy wife?
Think before you answer that.
