Anyone ever seen a vinyl window with some outside depth to it? I am looking for a window with a nice sloping sill like a wood window.

Best way is to trim it out with a sill...I'll see if I can round up a pic for you...
Well here's a pic that kind of lost it's luster in the crop and resize. This is on my henhouse but I do it on real houses too. rip a 2X @ 12 degrees on the back...assemble it on a stool of a size to suit you (12 degree outslope on top of the stool for the sill to lay on).
Build it long enough so side trim (beveled 12 degrees on bottom) sits on top of it.
This is just one method but it looks "unvinylly" (I made that up) when you're through.
Well, here's the henhouse:
You mean that's where you put the mother-in-law?
Yes!
Thank you Notchman.
Nice hen house. I have a kids playhouse I built which is rarely used by the kids --so as it happens i've been thinking about putting some chickens into it.
Thanks,
Bob
Ever notice how kids, despite your best efforts, are often happiest with a big ol' cardboard box? :-)
Anderson Vinyl over wood has a sill. It isn't the same as the pictures here but it solves some of the issue.
