I just saw an ad for this in a magazine yesterday, anyone here know about it?
Looks interesting for those of us looking for ways to stash more things on the truck.

The recipe for linoleum hasn't changed much in nearly 170 years, yet it's still one of the greenest floors money can buy.

Great idea. Ever wonder why "holistic" doesn't start with "w"?
I saw one of those somewhere recently, maybe Rockler. Pretty simple and clever, as long as you don't have to pick it up to move it. Then the whole things would collapse like a deck of cards!
Hmmm. A spanner bar on the bottom would take care of that, like an adjustable bar, ala fastcap helping hand.
Maybe I should write to the company.
It's clever and should take up very little space when stowed, but I use 2 of these $35 benches from the big box and they work out well for me. I even bought a 3rd one as a stand for my table saw/miter saw. I put a wood top on that one so I can clamp down the table saw. For extra stability, I have a spreader that sits on the lower steps and keeps the legs from moving. The spreader also doubles as a shelf.
This picture is my "miter station" setup. One of the benches has the wood top, the other one serves as the outrigger. I know, it looks a bit amateurish, but it works well for me.

Did you post this setup here before? Seems like I have seen that. Simple and easy, but it looks low to me.
Not knocking it, but I like my work surfaces up higher.
Yes, I did. I guess I'm plagiarizing myself :-)
It is a little low, but the table on the table saw winds up at 34" (pretty close to ideal) and the miter saw is at 28" so it's not quite as low as it looks.
What do you put on the ground before you kneel in supplication?
LOL. Good one. (but see previous post)
Don, those benches are great for standing on, and maybe for remodeling double duty as miter saw stands... but the DeWalt stand is 150 bucks now, and way portable... Winterlude, Winterlude, my little daisy,
Winterlude by the telephone wire,
Winterlude, it's makin' me lazy,
Come on, sit by the logs in the fire.
The moonlight reflects from the window
Where the snowflakes, they cover the sand.
Come out tonight, ev'rything will be tight,
Winterlude, this dude thinks you're grand.
My back hurts just looking at that setup.

Interesting idea. Are those the adjustable scaffolds, like the Gorilla ladders? If not, the height adjustable scaffolds might give you a little more air.
But, if it works for you, who can knock it?
"I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul." Invictus, by Henley.
The multi-tasking might be nice, but I've only got so much room in the truck... or hanging from the cap... I really like the bench, walkboard capability, though... but setting back up to make the cuts might get teedjuss<G>
