Where can I find good information on boiler controls ?
I would like to study and better understand the electrical part of our heating system.
After studying up on the plumbing end of our hotwater baseboard/gas boiler setup and cruising through refilling/bleeding/balancing the system I got stuck with the wiring part, which I found to be very confusing, especially with the way it is wired when it was installed less then 10 years ago and before we bought our house.
I’m insterested in the workings of 24-volt circuits for the thermostat and gas boiler controls and relays for the circulators and whatever else is involved in controlling the boiler.
Any recommendation ?
Are there any books or industry web sites ?
I guess Honeywell may have something and will go to their site.
Thanks for your help.
