Water Heater Question,
My water heater has begun making gurgling noises when I do laundry. It’s never really done that before and at times it’s rather loud and sounds almost like there is pressure in there trying to release. The inlet line gets almoost as hot as the outlet when no water is being drawn out and cools off when the cycle is occuring. The heat is at medium and doesn’t appear to be above 120 degrees. It’s a three story house with the water heater on the bottom floor and the laundry on the second. This is a new problem, and the water heater is only 3 years old and runs on propane. Just wondering what is going on here. Thanks for the help.

The noise you hear is most likely caused by setiment build-up in the bottom of your water heater. If you read your owner's manual, it will, most likely, tell you to drain the tank to remove setiment every six months. The owner's manual will also tell you how to do it...it is quite simple.
