Hey, (NC Greeting; I’m from Calif. I married a NC girl.)
My 100 yr-old farmhouse basement in NC has the well pipe penetrating the basement brick wall below grade. Rain water is seeping into the basement around the well pipe coming thru the wall. Which product will make the best seal to prevent the seepage? The seepage can be pretty heavy if it has rained a lot. I know french drains will help the water-standing issue directly above the penetration, but that comes next.
This my first ‘looking for help’ post; you can bet there will be more.
Thanks for looking.

You can try using a hydraulic cement around the pipe, but there's no way to make a basement of that age even slightly waterproof -- treatment from the outside is required, starting with proper grading.
Leak around basement well pipe.
Hey DanH,
Thanks for the suggestion of hydraulic cement.. I'll get right on it.
Another quick quest; Is DryLock a product you would use to reduce seepage below grade? I wonder if it is really effective. I'd like to get rid of some damp areas on the walls. Your comment re: grading is right on the mark. That's coming next.
Thanks again for your comments.
