Hello,
I’m in the process of having a smaller (approx 2200 sf) custom home constructed. The home is located in a rural area of Maryland and we will have a well and septic system. One of my concerns is having good water pressure, specifically for the showers. I like a LOT of pressure, the kind that will push you across the shower unless you hold onto something! My concern about not having good pressure comes from the two houses I grew up in, both with wells and pitiful water flow in the showers. And the sinks, outside faucets and anywhere else for that matter.
It has been suggested to me to have 3/4″ lines used in the entire house, all the way to the fixtures. Would this provide what I’m looking for? And how would the size of the well pump affect the results? I’m willing to do whatever I need to in order to have great pressure/flow in this house.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
